Die Scrunchies sind aus den Schnittresten von dem Hoodie + T-Shirt von charlotteschueler produziert.

Was ist der Unterschied zwischen Biobaumwolle und Konventioneller? 

Beim Anbau von Biologischer Baumwolle wird im Gegensatz zu konventioneller Baumwolle kein gentechnisches Verändertes oder chemischen behandeltes Saatgut eingesetzt. Genauso wird auf den Einsatz von Pestiziden und künstlichem Dünger verzichtet, stattdessen werden die Schädlinge natürlich bekämpft.

Die Produktion 

Die Produktion findet in Bulgarien in einer Familiengeführten Fabrik statt. Es liegt uns besonders am Herzen, dass die Näher*innen fair für ihre Arbeit entlohnt werden. Die 16 Mitarbeiter verdienen in der Fabrik mehr als doppelte vom bulgarischen Mindestlohn, zusätzlich gibt es noch einen Bonus zu Weihnachten. Auf ein gutes Arbeitsumfeld wird viel Wert gegeben, deswegen bestehen geregelte Arbeitszeiten von 9 – 17 Uhr an 5 Tagen die Woche. Über den Tag verteilt gibt es verschiedene Pausen von insgesamt 80 min. Überstunden werden am Wochenende mit Faktor 1,5 bezahlt und an Feiertagen mit 2,0.
